About Superior Seed Co.

With 40 years experience in broad-acre seed production, including the past 16 years as a Registered Seed Grower, Ian Lea (the owner of Superior Seed Co.) saw a need to create a seed processing and marketing company that would cater to the specific quality control requirements of a fluid and rapidly changing industry. This vision has seen the creation of Superior Seed Co, now operating in its fifth year of commercial processing and marketing.

The establishment of modern processing equipment, combined with extensive bulk and packaged seed storage, allows Superior Seed Co. to process orders tailored to individual customer requirements. All processing, seed treatment and packaging are subject to stringent quality control procedures to ensure customers receive only the best possible product available.

Distribution Area

Because of its geographic location, Superior Seed Co. has the envious advantage of a 360 degree area of distribution to all cropping districts and is able to supply the right seed, to the right place, and at the right time. A breakdown of distribution over the past three years reveals that 48% is within 100kms of Superior Seed Co, a further 26% between 100 and 200kms with the balance as far away as Esperance in WA and Emerald in Queensland!
